‘Dream Waves’ by Patrick Shearn

Several well-known figures were present at the presentation of the art installation ‘Dream Waves’ by artist Patrick Shearn from Poetic Kinetics, at Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet.

The American is part of the group of artists Poetic Kinetics, known worldwide for the large-scale art installations created specifically for a given location and for experimental design.

This is the second collaboration between Patrick Shearn and Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet, designed and created exclusively for the space.

The first, the play  School of Breeze,  was 171 meters long and was inspired by the Portuguese sea. The new Dream Waves piece follows the maritime theme and represents the movement of the waves.

Both works are the largest kinetic sculptures (with mechanical movement) in Europe to date.

The inauguration included a Cuca Roseta concert.
